Thank you for finding Knothole Recording Studio. My name is Boo English. I am the owner and operator of the studio. I am a Charlotte native and have been playing guitar and recording for over 30 years.
I started off by recording myself and learned the art of recording and playing guitar as a teenager. Later I was hired as a staff engineer at Sound Choice Studios in Charlotte NC and worked there for 14 years. While working at Sound Choice I gained experience recording and mixing all styles of music from rock, country and blues to big band, rap and the classics. You name it and we recorded it.
After leaving Sound Choice, I started Knothole Recording Studio where I continue to record all types of music as well as teach  audio recording classes. I write and record my own songs and offer full muti-track recording for whatever your needs may be.
